Free standard shipping on orders of $100 or more. Under $100, shipping is a flat $6.95.
Need it fast? Express (1–2 business days) is $30 at checkout.
Orders ship from our Auburn store within 1–2 business days.
Prefer to skip shipping altogether? Free in-store pickup downtown — choose it at checkout, and orders placed during store hours are ready the same day. We'll email you when yours is waiting.
Gift wrapping is free on any order. Check the gift wrapping box when you add an item to your cart, and we'll have it wrapped and ready — whether it ships or you pick it up downtown.
Returns — the short version
You have 14 days from the day your order is delivered. Returns are free in store, and free by mail when you take store credit. Want the refund back on your card instead? Mail returns for a card refund carry an $8 label fee, deducted from the refund.
The details
Items need to be unworn and unwashed with tags attached.
Discounted and sale items are final sale and not eligible for return. The exception: when a discount comes from a storewide promotion (a sitewide sale or promo code event), those purchases can be returned as usual.
Need a different size? Return for store credit — free by mail or in store — and reorder, or simply swap it at the shop within your 14 days. That's the fastest route.
In-store returns: bring your order and confirmation email to the shop within the 14 days — in-store refunds are issued as store credit, same as any store purchase. Refunds to your original card are available by mail only.
If something's wrong with your order
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, that's on us — no fee, no 14-day pressure. Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund, return shipping included.
How to start a return
Log into your account, open the order, and select Request return — or just email orders@shopbehindtheglass.com with your order number. We'll take it from there.
